Test redis on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) Ubuntu 18.04

Currently I am working on a framework called JeeCG which using redis as jwt storage. So I need to setup a test redis server for development.

I used to try redis for windows but I want to also try it on my Windows Subsystem Linux Ubuntu 18.04 just for fun.

Following this blog https://redislabs.com/blog/redis-on-windows-10/ I have done this test very straightforward.

Here’s the steps:

1. apt install redis  (install redis server)
2. redis-server -v  (check redis server version)
3. redis-cli (connect to redis)
4. set
5. get
